Do you want an upscale-looking hammock that you can use indoors or out? Vivere makes a solid pine wooden hammock stand that has a really classy look. Plus, it costs less than it looks!
This Hammock + Wood Stand Adds Style to Any Space:
I like this hammock set for sleeping indoors because it actually looks like a real piece of furniture. In other words, it doesn’t look like a cheap temporary set-up.
Furthermore, the rustic, contemporary frame design adds style to any space, no matter which hammock color you choose. (By the way, you can choose from 6 different colors, and whether you want fringe or not.)
- Tropical Stripe
- Blue Lagoon Stripe
- Cayo Reef Stripe
- Oasis Stripe
- Plumeria Stripe
Alternatively, you can dress up your patio or deck outdoors with this freestanding hammock. Its shorter frame size (about 8.5 feet in length) also fits well on most balconies.
Hammock Bed Design Works Perfectly for Sleeping:
Not to mention, the cotton fabric features a tight weave, so you don’t wake up with cross-cross lines all over you body. =)
Note: The wood stand has multiple holes drilled into either end of the frame. Hence, you can adjust the height and angle of your hammock bed.
Also, I noticed over time that my hammock stretched out a little, so this feature allowed me to adjust my hammock accordingly.
By the way, the extra wide cut of fabric lets you sit in the hammock sideways and relax in it like a swing. In fact, I find myself opting to sit in the hammock to read or work on my laptop instead of a chair.
How to Assemble the Vivere Wood Hammock Frame:
The stand requires assembly, however, this simple undertaking only takes about 30 to complete. I have included a video below that demonstrates how to do it in 4 easy steps.
Basically, you bolt the frame parts together through the pre-drilled holes with the included hardware and tools. Also, you will need a screwdriver.

Washing Your Vivere Cotton Hammock:
Since this Brazilian-style hammock does not have a spreader bar, you can actually throw it in a washing machine. However, the strings can tangle up during the washing process if you don’t follow a few tips…
Tip: To prevent the strings from tangling, you want to tie the hammock end strings together. Do this by wrapping a piece of string just below the loops and 3/4 of the way towards the bed of the hammock.
In addition, you can then place the hammock inside a pillow case. Then, tie the pillow case closed. Use a mild detergent and cool water on the rinse and spin cycles. Finally, hang the hammock to dry.
I have washed my own Vivere cotton hammock in the washer without any problems. However, I noticed that when I didn’t use a pillow case, the cotton fabric tended to pill.
